• Who are the medical providers we will be consulting with?

  • All our providers undergo a rigorous credentialing process based on the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines. All our providers are licensed by the applicable licensing boards for the states where they provide services.

    1. Our physicians are medically trained, U.S. board-certified in their specialties, licensed, and credentialed. They hold bachelor's (B.A. or B.S) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degrees.
    2. Our physician assistants are medically trained, NCCPA certified, licensed, and credentialed. They hold bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) and Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS), Health Science (MHS) or Medical Science (MMSc) degrees.
    3. Our nurse practitioners are medically trained, ANCC or AANP certified in their specialties, licensed and credentialed. They hold Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees.
    4. Our behavioral health team of masters-level professionals includes experienced and accredited Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and equivalent licensed professionals.

• When should I use KonnectMD?

  • KonnectMD is perfect for common medical ailments that require prescription treatment. Our service provides remote consultations with licensed healthcare providers for medical and behavioral health issues. Patients can discuss their concerns and receive a diagnosis, treatment recommendations and medication, if necessary. However, in-person visits may be required for emergencies, physical examinations or diagnostic testing.

• How can I enroll my family members?

  • At the bottom of your member portal page, click on "Add a Family Member." Alternatively, call our live agent at 877-273-3932.

• What should I do if I have a medical question that does not require medical attention?

  • Need professional medical advice or a second opinion? Ask one of our doctors for free. At the bottom of your member portal page, click on "Message a Doctor."

• I'm currently out of town. Can I still use the service?

  • Yes! KonnectMD is available nationwide. Choose the state you’re presently in when requesting a provider.
